Lovaholic's CNY New Hairdo! (^_^)
Lovaholic has completed all 3 stages for her new hairdo!!! (^_^)
Stage 1: Cut by the highly-rave Kevin @ Reds Bugis on 19th Jan 2008.
Before the cut, my hair was nowhere short or long... Stuck in the middle with shoulder length!!! So thick and messy which makes me look like those stay-at-home aunties!!! *Puke!!!*
Had been with Storm's (part of Monsoon) Serene for 4 years since my days with SQ. She kinda disappoint me the very last time she did my hair as she did not listen to what I want and did my hair her way.... So she gonna go :( *Sob Sob*
Finally, decided to search for a new stylist :P Browse thru my fave forum and got myself the highly rave Kevin from Reds Bugis (aka Jeric Saloon). Am pleased with his cut as he listens to what I want and give me so so many tips on how I should style my hair. BUT he kinda talks too much sometimes. (>_<)
Well, wanted that Cyndi Wang's hairdo, the longer version of her recent bob hair style, and manage to have something similar to that :) Even, my dear honezzz said it looks similar too!!! I am a happy girl now!!! (^_^)
PERSONAL OPINION: I think Cyndi Wang is pretty and she's a superstar! But I don't fancy her since she is too "old" to act cute and most of her songs are trying too hard to show her cuteness!!! *Yucks!* It is her hairstyle that I like *Hohoho!!!*
The long bob that I want badly!!! Wahaha!!! At least I didn't see many having this hairstyle!!!
I have no courage to cut my hair to this short for now... Maybe another few months?! (*_*)
Stage 2: Coloring by Joey from Belong Yishun on 27th Jan 2008.
Belong is a new sub-branch from Kimage and since my dearest mummy going to Yishun so I decided to give Joey a chance to prove why she's another highly rave stylist in the forum!!! (^_^)
I have no intention at first to color my hair but was lemming for the color/henna treatment with Fruit acid. Eventually settle with one color dye as my hair is badly damage by that Serene from Storm when she did double-bleach for my highlight a year ago!!! *sob sob* (T_T)
Colored my hair to a dark mahogany since I love dark color (except black) nowadays.
After Coloring and Cut:
I am half-dead after a long day!!! Apologise for the no make-up and "dead" looking face. (@_@)
Stage 3 (Update on 5th Feb 2008): Hair Extension on 1st Feb & 5th Feb 2008
Lovaholic kinda resist the idea of doing hair extension since she has no idea where the REAL HUMAN HAIR came from??? *Spooks*
Got it over and done with at 2 places, Ocala Hair Studio and Angel Xin beauty. Raves from forums must be carefully analyze before committing. I learnt my lesson now... (T_T)
Ocala Hair Studio located at Sims Place offers hair extension using braiding (weaving) which is rave that it is very comfortable and less irritation to scalp. Went immediately the next day after finding out that it costs only $2 per strand. Honezzz (aka Significant Other - SO ) was so nice to drive me there as this typical male creature likes his girlfriend to be super girly with long hair and I seldom love to have long hair since I adore mid-length more!!! *silly silly*
Served by a nice PRC lady, Amy and she was nice to explain to me the differences between the common "CLIP-ON" and "BRAIDING" method. She even taught me how to wash hair and care for the extension. Overall, a nice experience but still I have got RANTS!!! The hair used for extension was SUPER DRY after one wash and I did 125 strands thinking I would have 125 braids but I was SUPER WRONG!!! It turned out that I have 25 braids of 5 miserable thin strands making my new found waist-length hair look so FAKE!!! It cost me $250 which was sponsored by my dear SO!!! *SOB SOB SOB* (T_T)
Only one forum user said it was good and I fall for it.... How dumb can this be?!
Angel Xin has tons of pages raving about their "CLIP-ON" hair extension but I shooed away upon finding out that Ocala does braiding.... Went to Angel Xin for rescue today with my lovable sister and added another 40 strands to the crown of my head. Each strand costs $1 and is much much thicker than Ocala!!! Their hair quality is so much better!!! It looks more natural and I have got WAIST-LENGTH STRAIGHT HAIR for the FIRST TIME!!! *Hop Hop Jump Jump*
I am a happy girl now... at least for now... even after spending $290... (.n_n.) *Clapping!!!*
